Corrections Policy
Errors are corrected in public, with a date and a description of what changed.
- Every substantive change after publication is logged on the article with a timestamp and a plain description of what changed.
- Factual errors are corrected at the top of the article, not silently edited.
- If an official outcome we reported as pending is later decided differently, the status label and the correction log are both updated.
- Corrections requests can be sent with the article link and the specific record that contradicts our reporting.

- PECO reports 57 Marple customers without power; local vote outcomes still unverified

Its October 16, 9:42 a.m. snapshot lists 410 affected Delaware County customers across 12 outages, including 57 in Marple and zero in Newtown. The lead and headline now reflect that verified snapshot; causes, streets and restoration estimates remain unverified.
- PECO reports 410 Delco customers out; youth-center agreement proposed for Tuesday
- — Clarification: the October 20 agreement is a future agenda proposal, not a completed vote. The current-status paragraph explains the generic vote-display label; other meeting outcomes remain unverified.
