Retrieval, retries and fallback
The registry is designed for daily retrieval with retry and error logging once a collector is connected. Until then the manual fallback is the process: an editor opens each source on the cadence above, records new items as ingested drafts, and logs a failed or unreachable source in the daily briefing.
